Stefan Kitanovic

Stefan is a Project Engineer in Water Technology’s Catchments and Floodplains group. Stefan’s interest in water resources was born from a related research project he undertook during his final year of university, which then transitioned into an ongoing role developing novel water management software at the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities. Following this, Stefan spent some time working at a regional water authority in Victoria, before joining Water Technology.  Stefan has undertaken various surface water management projects – including carrying out hydrologic and hydraulic assessments for residential developments and road infrastructure upgrades, preparing stormwater management plans, and developing 2D hydraulic models for catchment-scale flood studies. Stefan’s experience completing these projects has subsequently allowed him to foster skills in the use of key industry software packages such as RORB, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, QGIS and MapInfo.
