Bonnie is Senior Engineer whose expertise lies in floodplain management, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, project management and disaster management. She has over six years of experience in the field, including two secondments and three years at local government. She has worked on a wide range of projects including an EIS for a significant highway upgrade, flood mitigation investigations, flood mapping and development applications. Her hands-on experience extends to her role as Floodplain Management Engineer for the City of Moreton Bay, where she led flood investigations, contributed to flood mitigation projects and Councils forward works program. During the February 2022 floods, Bonnie worked in Councils flood information centre providing flood intelligence during the event. She has experience working in local government for the entirety of the flood event within the planning, operations, and recovery stages.
