Daryl Lam
Daryl is a physical geographer and a fluvial geomorphologist who has extensive experience in waterway assessment and management, with a particular focus on palaeoflood hydrology, fluvial geomorphic processes, and sedimentology. He also has expertise in water quality assessments, estuary and coastal processes and management, and natural hazard resilience works.
Daryl specialises in palaeoflood reconstruction and has published articles in prominent scientific journals (including Quaternary Science Reviews, Water Resources Research, Geomorphology and Stochastic Environmental Research and Risk Assessment) and some of his palaeoflood works are referenced in Australian Rainfall and Runoff, 2019. Daryl continues to collaborate with other academics in advancing research in the field of geomorphology and palaeoflood hydrology.
