Daniel has more than 24 years of experience in groundwater resource assessment, impact evaluation, and water supply strategy development across Australia. He specialises in identifying, securing, and sustainably managing groundwater resources while assessing and mitigating potential impacts to groundwater-dependent ecosystems and other environmental values.  Daniel also has extensive experience undertaking groundwater impact assessments, including evaluation of drawdown, aquifer connectivity, spring dependencies, and risks to environmentally sensitive receptors. He is highly skilled in navigating Commonwealth, state, and territory regulatory frameworks, including groundwater licensing, approvals, and environmental compliance pathways.  His technical expertise includes applying geological, geophysical, and hydrogeological methods to characterise aquifer systems, predict impacts, and identify viable water sources. He is experienced in designing and implementing monitoring programs, developing conceptual models, and supporting impact assessments and approval documentation. 

From project inception through to bore integrity assessment, remote drilling campaigns, aquifer pumping tests, and groundwater sampling programs, Daniel brings the practical knowledge and regulatory understanding required to assess potential impacts, support approvals, and deliver robust, defensible groundwater outcomes for complex projects.
