Ben has extensive experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, flood risk management and environmental projects. Post flooding occurring in 2010, 2011 and 2016, Ben completed several documentation and review projects over local, regional, and state-wide areas, Ben has also been heavily involved in supporting the Victorian State Emergency Service in a range of Incident Control Centres during flood events in 2016 and 2022.

In addition, Ben has extensive on ground experience working with Victorian CMAs delivering flood recovery programs and the management of waterway works projects and flood mitigation infrastructure projects.

Ben has led in depth community consultation and coordination of input from multiple government agencies for large and complicated scientific and technical floodplain assessment and development projects.
