Richard Sharp
Richard is an established urban planner specialising in natural hazards planning, in particular regarding flooding and coastal risks. He has delivered multi-disciplinary projects within local government and the public sector aimed at reducing flood and coastal hazard risk, implementing sustainable development and land use outcomes. Richard has also worked on strategic planning projects including developing natural hazard risk assessments and overlay drafting for multiple planning schemes, infrastructure network planning, state interest compliance and organisation wide projects in coastal hazard adaptation, flood risk and resilience, due diligence, community engagement and emergency flood warning flood classifications. Richard also delivers statutory planning and development assessment services, and policy advice.
