William Stevenson-Vissers

William joined the Water Technology team in January 2022 after completing his Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Earth Science Honours degree in 2021. During his time at Monash University, while undertaking both study and casual work, Will worked on research projects for Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning involving the mapping of shoreline change and coastal ecosystems using GIS software and field studies. He is passionate about furthering his understanding of the impacts of sea level rise on our coastal ecosystems and how to manage these systems. Wills skills include using GIS software and applying them in coastal, estuarine and river settings to map changes in these environments.

His experience since joining Water Technology includes wave and sea level modelling to inform coastal hazards, particularly erosion and inundation, and coastal zone management plan development.
