Nasreen joined Water Technology in 2018. Nasreen has more than 10 years professional experience in hydraulic modelling and hydrological analysis. She has gained extensive experience on flood modelling, dambreak modelling and consequence assessment, flood mitigation design and sediment transport modelling. Nasreen has undertaken work on a broad range of projects across South-east Australia state including flood mapping, flood studies, dam break modelling and flood impact assessments. She has extensive experience in 2 Dimensional and 1 Dimensional hydraulic modelling and application of ARR2016 methodology for wide range of application.
Nasreen has completed a diploma in project management and has successfully project managed and delivered flood studies including the Warrenheip-Ryan Creek, Yarrowee-Gnarr Creek, and other similar studies at Ballarat, Carisbrook, Beaufort, Koo Wee Rup, Finley, Yarra River and Wangaratta. She has also worked on a number of dams safety risk management studies, Hume Dam for WaterNSW; Guthega, Island Bend and Jindabyne Dams as part of the Snowy Hydro Portfolio Risk Assessment as well as Melbourne Water’s portfolio of flood retarding basins, Sugarloaf Dam.
