Narelle Poole
Having a diverse career in Education, Local and Federal Government, Narelle joins the team for the Lismore Relocation Project. Having been Project Coordinater for the Grantham Landswap, Narelle worked with Jamie Simmonds in the relocation of the township of Grantham, Queensland, after the devastating floods of 2011 that claimed 19 lives locally. In only 11 months after the flood, this project put flood-devastated families into their new homes in a new estate on higher ground. Within 2 years, over 100 families had a new life safe from any future floods. Narelle brings a wealth of lived experience in disaster management, recovery and community engagement.
