Matthew has worked as a Civil Design Drafter, using AutoCAD and 12d Model, and has accumulated over a decade of experience. During this time he worked on a variety of projects ranging from road reconstruction; subdivision design; pipeline alignments for potable, non-potable and wastewater mains; stormwater detention and retention basins; creek erosion control works; and various other projects. He gained extensive experience in the design and drafting of various stages of a project, from conceptual design layout to creating detailed construction documentation. He is also experienced in estimating the required hours of design drafting at the proposal stage and then producing those jobs successfully within budget and on time. His roles have seen him involved in liaising with colleagues on projects, whilst maintaining relationships with external agencies such as SA Water, the Department of Transport and Energy and Infrastructure and various local councils.
