Kusalika is a coastal engineer with competencies in numerical and physical modelling of coastal engineering projects. She is passionate about applying her knowledge in numerical modelling to better understand wave climate, hydrodynamics, sediment transport, and coastal processes. Kusalika has working experience in 2D & 3D physical modelling of coastal projects, and designing of coastal structures. Her interests are identifying environment safe and sustainable solutions for better coast management and preserving natural coast. Kusalika holds Doctorate and Masters in Coastal Engineering from Texas A&M University, USA.
