Julia Scholz
Julia is an enthusiastic, innovative and technically minded environmental engineer pursuing and strengthening her waterway management, rehabilitation and integrated water solutions skills. Julia enjoys producing quality work autonomously as well as within a team through structured planning and transparent communication. She has experience visually presenting concepts and assessment outcomes to various stakeholders, including and not limited to community consultation and public presentations.
She has experience as a project engineer and manager within a mine water and stormwater team, as well as being a multi-disciplinary engineer collaborating with the Environmental Approvals & Management discipline. Julia is responsible for overseeing project execution, management and delivery, including teaching new staff/graduate staff and giving technical or project support.
Julia has expertise in drainage systems and natural channel design, including hydraulic and hydrology designs and calculations. Coupled with a demonstrated high proficiency with water resource modelling packages such as GoldSim, HEC RAS (1D), MUSIC and XP-RAFTS.
