Julia is a highly adaptable data analyst and coastal scientist, coupling her postgraduate and industry experience in the water engineering, coastal science, oceanographic and energy resource industries.

Julia is an innovative data-driven Coastal Scientist with 7+ years’ experience in the Coastal Engineering and Oil & Energy industry. She assists clients to implement data-based solutions and develop an analytical project management approach.

Julia has extensive experience across various disciplines, including met-ocean data, climate change, numerical modelling (coastal processes), contract limitations, strategic development, and budget management. She has a strong ability to learn on the fly by pulling together new scenarios with previous experiences on different subjects and quickly creating balanced and realistic short-term solutions. Julia gets excited about opportunities to learn and apply new technologies and be involved in work that has a purpose and transforms lives.

At Water Technology, Julia implements data-based solutions across various disciplines, including met-ocean data, climate change, numerical modelling and coastal hazard risk management and adaptation planning, modelling coastal hazards, and mapping sea-level rise impacts. Julia models exceptional communication between stakeholders, with the ability to translate technical and academic aspects to management reports and strategic planning.
