Jenna Johnston

Jenna graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Marine Science (Honours) in 2012 after completing her thesis on sediment dynamics in the Brisbane River. Jenna is a skilled modeller capable of simulating complex estuarine and coastal processes such as material and pollutant discharges, ecosystem health, and speciated water quality modelling. In addition to modelling, Jenna’s other area of expertise is water quality, with an emphasis on wetland restoration and construction as a means of water quality improvement, flood mitigation and carbon sequestration.

Jenna also has extensive water quality and metocean data collection experience in marine and freshwater environments and is capable of operating a range of marine monitoring equipment. Jenna has high level data processing and analysis skills, in particular quality control and quality assurance of environmental datasets.
