As Project Engineer, Elin combines her qualifications in physics, chemical, and mechanical engineering with over 7 years of industry experience. Her specialised experience is in numerical simulation, computational fluid dynamics, and mechanical engineering. Elin brings a varity of perspectives with previous projects including computational fluid dynamics in the pharmaceutical field, developing new renewable energy solutions as a Fluid Dynamics Engineer, and now water engineering projects at Water Technology.

Since then Elin has held multiple CFD roles working as a consultant and within product development applying her fluid dynamics knowledge in a wide range of areas. Some examples of previous modelling work include internal pipe flow, water tank mixing and particle deposition. Elin also has experience with basic scripting and programming, report and proposal writing and communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.

At Water Technology Elin is bringing her previous experience and interest in fluid dynamics together with curiosity and eagerness to learn to contribute to innovative water solutions. Elin is currently developing her skills in hydraulic and hydrological modelling using TUFLOW, MikeFlood and URBS as well as GIS packages.
