The role

We now have an outstanding opportunity for an early career Geomatic Engineer or Spatial Analyst to join our team in a Spatial Analyst role.  The position will specialise in the application of GIS and spatial technologies for coastal, environmental and water applications.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:
  • Spatial data manipulation and management
  • Spatial analysis
  • Creating figures, maps and online mapping
  • Technical report writing
To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • Engineering or Spatial/Geomatics qualifications (or completing the final year of studies)
  • Demonstrated experience using ESRI ArcGIS

The right team member will have:

  • Demonstrated interest/experience in GIS and spatial technologies applied to the physical sciences, particularly coastal and floodplain
  • Experience with QGIS, 12D, AutoCAD, Python scripting
  • Experience with hydrology or hydraulic modelling packages
  • Previous consulting experience
  • Ability to be self-motivated and to work autonomously
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding service & quality to our clients
